Go within.

It's been a while since I last blogged. I hit what felt like a wall and decided that it would be easier to ignore my feelings as well as my thoughts and bottle everything up. I thought it would be easier to try and go back to living the life I led before awakening. Let me tell you now, it is impossible to ignore your truth, your inner voice. You can't ignore your heart for long, it catches up with you.

Throughout my journey of awakening I have spoken to many professionals,  many people who have been awakened for so many years. I have read hundreds of articles online, many books with many different personal opinions, experiences and truths from different people. All have been extremely helpful in questioning my own truth, and allowing me to expand my mind, deepen my understanding.

One thing I have learnt ( and this lesson always pops back up to make sure I am still doing what I need to) is as great as all this information on the outside is for triggering our own knowledge that we already have within...external sources are just that... triggers to awaken new parts of knowledge that we already know. Triggers to make us question our belief systems that we have taken on throughout our life when they don't match up to our core beliefs. I personally believe that we have everything we need within ourselves, we just spend our lives peeling back so many layers of "stuff" that doesn't belong to us.

So when you are feeling something, anything... the answer is to go within and question where the feelings is coming from. This is something that still to this day I have to remind myself to do and I am still not 100% with it, because I am also human.. and humans make mistakes. and it's OK!
