Be your biggest fan..no really, I mean it!

Why do we wait for approval from everyone else?

From a young age we naturally seek the approval from our mum, dad, teacher, siblings, friends and even people who we don't know.

At what point in our life do we stop for a moment, take a look at what we have achieved, how far we have come and took the time to congratulate ourselves for anything and everything we have accomplished along our own personal journey?

 

Be your biggest fan! ... Really, I mean it!! Every step you take towards a goal, whether the goal that day is to get up and take some time for yourself, or to look after your children, or even do something new, something that scares and equally excites you. Give yourself a pat on the back for taking that step and doing what you set out to. It's those times that really help us take another step in the right direction to becoming the best version of ourselves.

So, the quote above, I personally believe this speaks volumes. celebrating your own success's can achieve such amazing results in seeing yourself in an entirely new light. When you celebrate yourself, you are showing yourself a whole lot of self love. You are creating a healthy relationship with yourself which has so many positive affects on your mental health. In turn, this has a ripple effect on how you start to view others, and their own success's. We all have our own unique gift to give back to not just ourselves but the world around us, the more we celebrate our own success, the more it will inspire people around us to want to step into their own light too... and let's be honest, there is more then enough light for all of us!

 

I want to take a moment to give a shout out to a few of you who could be reading this. To the new mum who has managed to get up, have a shower and wash her hair, be proud you managed to make some time in your day to show you and your body a bit of self love! To the teenager who feels like life is getting a bit crazy, school is getting on top of you but you get up, show up and make the effort, check you out for putting the effort into your life! To the person reading this, no matter where you are in life, you are always growing as a person, that right there is something to celebrate right now!

 

I could list so many more people, but then again I think it would take far too long to write a few words for each and every soul on the planet, so instead I ask you to celebrate yourself instead!

 

Those of you who have read my blog before, know that my passion in life, is working with children and helping them see what magnificent beings they truly are. Helping equip themselves with the right tools to navigate this human experience. I believe celebrating your own success should be something that children should be taught to do from a young age. I personally love to show my children how I celebrate mine, in hopes that their little eyes and hearts will see and feel how amazing it is to do so.

 

I challenge you, to start today, to love yourself, celebrate yourself and all you accomplish each and every day... then watch how your outer world changes around you.
